My Oops Hair and Pretty New Candy Pink

So I thought I would just save bothering the salon and waiting for an appointment to fix my horrible roots. I bleached my roots..pretty good but then used the Celeb Luxury shampoo to color it since it was doing so well keeping my hair a deep pink. Worst Idea Ever. I mean the worst. lol
I ended up giving myself hair that was red orange on top and purple pink on the bottom. How? Not even the stylist figured out how that was possible from pink. This is how I looked on the way to the salon to get it fixed on September 26th.. Yeah bad ombre going on there.
After I left, my bangs were in serious hair shock so I didn’t take too many pics because hello huge bangs. Eep. I woke up day after salon visit and they were sticking straight in the air. I sent a picture to my Mom and she asked if I slept standing on my head. lol
Well, here is my hair now that bangs are finally behaving. I am so in love with this neon candy pink color. It seriously glows in the sunlight and makes me happy. Here is a semi unflattering pic just to show off the color’s affect in the sunlight.
So, lesson well learned. I am leaving the work to my stylist from now on. Not going to try to fix it up at home again. Nope. Nope. I really need to not mess with perfection. 😉
I have gotten so many compliments on the new color with my eyes so I guess it will be staying for a bit. I may of finally found the perfect color for me. Kind of crazy since up to a year or two ago I hated the color pink. *shrug*

The candy colour is certainly an improvement! I’ve been lucky with the barbers that I go to, since they weren’t used to working with long hair, but haven’t made a mistake yet. 😀
The candy pink looks so good! I wish I was brave enough to dye my hair – I’ve only ever gotten low lights twice! LOL My hair is rather basic, but if I did add color, I think I would love some olive green pieces, but that might end up just looking really off!
