Melting Icecream Geek Nails

Another brilliant geek nail creation by Nathan at La Bella Vita Salon and Day Spa , Palm Harbor Fl. I came to him with the idea and a few inspiration pics of melting icecream with sprinkles. We decided to go with colors to match my high school reunion dress and hair that was coming up. (You can read blog post about it here, if you missed it.)
One we had color base picked out, Nathan experimented with different techniques on how best to get the sprinkles to show just right so they would actually look like little sprinkles, not blobs or dots. I am really happy with the end result. They are adorably cute. They make me smile.
What’s up next? Well… maybe some Harry Potter. Just maybe. It’s been on our list for a bit now but no promises yet. We kind of go where the mood strikes us at the time.
Here are the pictures on my beautiful nails. As always, ignore my autoimmune arthritis hands / joints, which are not so pretty.
