If you had told me a younger me that I would be rocking acrylic nails and looking forward to nail appointments at this age *cough cough*, I would of laughed myself silly. Heck even just last year I would of thought you were telling the funniest joke of the year. Yet here I am, thanks to the world’s most awesome nail artist (shout out to Nathan at La Bella Vita Salon and Day Spa , Palm Harbor Fl.) for making our geeky visions a reality. He really is a genius for turning this tomboy in to a proud nail wearing geek.

Of course there is a major learning curve as I never grew nails long before, so it was like I suddenly had an extra disability added on top of the ones I already struggle with (hence the not so pretty joints and swollen hands in pics). How the heck does one open a diet soda can (don’t worry it’s Zevia for my fellow Ketoers)? OMG I can’t grasp a nose stud. Wth? How do women use these things? Yep, all this time on earth as a female but asking the universe how do women do things? Socially awkward me.

As of writing this blog I started out with these awesome Wonder Woman inspired nails. I felt like a warrior goddess for a few weeks there.

Then he made these awesome Pacman with color appropriate ghosties happen. Seriously geeked out over them! 😀

Next up where these comic style inspired pop art nails.  I absolutely loved the idea and he made the magic.

As of writing this I have these amazing  Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington nails.  Not much can top it right? Hehe. We have ideas…

What’s next? Who knows? 😉 I’m sure something amazing but we never decide until my nails are naked and inspiration hits. One thing is for sure. We have epic geek conversations, and I have to get an interview of him for this blog.
